A spot that has been serving up cheesesteaks in Midtown for more than 40 years now has a second location.
The space — once home to Sabot Shoes — will feature a kitchen large enough for Woody’s to add to its menu with items including French fries and onion rings.
A larger grand opening is planned for later this year once the restaurant gets its liquor license.
The original Woody’s has been open at 981 Monroe Drive NE since 1975.
