
MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Department of Health services reported that over 20% of the population has completed the vaccination series.
DHS officials said a total of 3,083,951 doses of the vaccine have been administered to Wisconsinites. The number of completed vaccinated people is 1,170,042, a total of 20.1% of the population.
Health officials confirmed 584 new cases Sunday, a drop from Saturday’s case count of 706. The seven-day average of new cases per day has continued it’s increase, and is now 3.3%.
The state has reached a lifetime total of 479,877 confirmed cases, and 1.3% of cases are active.
At least 6,639 have died of coronavirus complications. The DHS withdrew Coronavirus as a complication of death for one previously identified individual Sunday. Another 38 people were hospitalized in the past day.
