With the weather heating up, and Gov. Jay Inslee encouraging Washingtonians to “take it outside,” open-air dining may be the best options at the moment for those who want to sit down for a restaurant meal. In addition to the various sidewalk and street patios that have become even more prevalent (thanks to relaxed permit rules), there are also several places that offer terrific views of Seattle’s picturesque landscape. Diners can make the summit to these spectacular rooftop dining and drinking options, listed from north to south.
Most places below offer takeout in addition to outdoor seating, but a number of Seattle restaurants have resumed indoor dining as well. The level of service offered is indicated on each map point. However, this should not be taken as endorsement for dining in, as there are still safety concerns: for updated information on coronavirus cases in the area, please visit the King County COVID update page. Studies indicate that there is a lower exposure risk when outdoors, but the level of risk involved with patio dining is contingent on restaurants following strict social distancing and other safety guidelines.
Note: Restaurants on this map are listed geographically.
