Sweet tea isn’t officially the drink of the South, but it might as well be — Georgia State Rep. John Noel even went so far as to introduce a bill in 2003 that would have made it a misdemeanor not to include sweet tea on a restaurant menu.
OK, it was an April Fool’s prank, but it doesn’t sound so far-fetched, does it? People in these parts love their sweet tea (these teens loved it so much they were willing to get arrested for it)
